Book Description
العتْقُ: هو الحرية إذا قُرأت مكسورة العين، وتعني التحرير إذا قُرأت مفتوحة العين، والفقهاء لا يبتعدون عن المعنی اللغوي بل أرادوا بالعِتق الخروج من الرِّق، فالعِتق هو المملوك المُحرَّر، رجلا كان أو امرأةً، وقد اصطلح عليه القرآن بالتحرير، ومن هنا اخترناه عنواناً للكتاب، كما نُسب التحرير إلی الرقبة، حيث جرت أدبيات العرب منذ القِدم علی أن الرقبة تعني ما فيها حياة الإنسان من جهة، وفيها كرامته من جهة أخرى.
ولاشك أن الإسلام وضع آلية حكيمة للتخلص من العبودية، بل جعلها فريضة بالدرجة الأولی وذلك عبر بوابات مختلفة في الأحكام، بل جعلها من القُرُبات والعبادات، وجعلها في تضاد مع الذنوب الكبيرة وماحية لآثارها، كما في قتل الإنسان علی وجه الخطأ، والإفطار في شهر رمضان، وإيقاع الظِّهار المَنْهِيّ، ونقض الأَيْمان وأمثال ذلك من كبائر … والأهم من ذلك أنه اشترط في تحرير المملوك بأن يكون قربة إلی الله تعالی، لتكون عبادة خالصة له، وهذا يدلنا علی أن التحرير من القُرُبات الخالصة لله جل وعلا.
