المتابع للأمسيات التي تقيمها اللجان الإدارية في جامعة دمشق، يلاحظ أن لجنة كلية العلوم أكثر اللجان نشاطاً، حيث أقامت خلال شهر واحد، وأمسيتين شعريتين، قدمت من خلالهما أصواتا واعدة متميزة. ففي الأمسية الأولى لفت النظر الشاعر الزجال نقولا زيدان حيث ألقى مجموعة قصائد من الشعر الشعبي الجميل، الذي يدخل إلى النفس الإنسانية بدون جواز سفر. ولا أدري لماذا لم نسمع باسم هذا الشاعر الذي يقترب عمره من الأربعين، قبل اليوم، وهو الذي يستحق فعلاً أن تكون بصماته على خارطة الشعر الشعبي. لقد تفاعل معه جمهور الأمسية وأحبه لروعة الأداء والزجل معاً.
