يعد هذا الكتاب دليلاً للزائرين إلى (العتبات المقدسة في العراق) يضم الأدعية التي يتوجب على المؤمن قراءتها حين الزيارة، بالإضافة إلي بيان فضلها ومكانتها عند الله تعالى. ولأهمية الزيارة عند المسلمين قسَم المؤلف كتابه إلى المواقع التي يوجد بها ضريح الأولياء الصالحين في كل "من (النجف الأشرف)، و(كربلاء المقدسة)، و(مدينة بغداد) مع الإشارة إلى أماكن هذه المقامات وقد ألحقها بصور ملونة من أرض العراق لمرقد الإمام علي عليه السلام، ومسجد الكوفة، وبيت الإمام علي، ومسجد السهلة، ومقام الإمام الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب وآخرون من أئمة أهل البيت المنتجين الصالحين.
