يعتبر هذا الكتاب بمحتواه مرجعاً لكل سياسي وكل مهتم بالشأن الانتخابي حيث يتضمن تبياناً لحجم القوة التجييرية للقوى السياسية والأحزاب في لبنان، كما يعرض نسب تصويت الطوائف في المحافظات الكبرى. ويركز على بيان السلوك الانتخابي للناخبين في مختلف الدوائر، وأثر هذا السلوك وتأثيره المباشر على النتائج.
وفي مرحلة لاحقة يرسم صورة موجزة ومعبِّرة عن العملية الانتخابية في كل دائرة من الدوائر الأربعة عشر التي جرت فيها الانتخابات. وما يميز هذا الكتاب هو أنه قد جاء متضمناً سرداً للنتائج التفصيلية للدوائر الانتخابية، لناحية التصويت الطائفي والمناطقي، وما ناله كل مرشح كنتيجة عامة في الدائرة، وأيضاً ما ناله من نتائج تفصيلية في المناطق التي تتألف منها هذه الدائرة. يُضاف إليها النتيجة العامة على صعيد الدائرة، وتفاصيل هذه النتيجة العامة على صعيد المناطق.
وبالإضافة إلى النتائج العامة والتفصيلية في كل دائرة احتوى الكتاب باباً خاصاً للنتائج في كل قرية من القرى اللبنانية، وما ناله كل مرشح في هذه القرى ونسبة التصويت العامة فيها وتوزع هذا التصويت على الطوائف.
وكنموذج عن مضمون هذا الكتاب نكتفي بالإشارة إلى صفحتين منه استغرق إعدادهما وقتاً طويلاً وقراءات متأنية ودقيقة، الصفحة الأولى تضمنت جدولاً بأحجام القوى التجييرية لبعض القوى السياسية اللبنانية. والصفحة الثانية تضمنت أرقام الناخبين والمقترعين من كافة الطوائف في المحافظات التاريخية الكبرى.
