"في لحظة تسبق الموت ولم تنته بعد الحياة، يتمرد الحب فينا يطلق صرخته على الموت يرتدي ثوب النجاة، في لحظة تسبق الموت، ولم تنته بعد الحياة تنفجر القصيدة صرخة على القهر على الغربة على اجترار الصمت كي أغني ملئ صوتي أغنيات الحب والحياة". كتبت هذه القصائد في الفترة ما بين أيلول 2000 وأيلول 2002، أي في فترة الانتفاضة الثانية على الاحتلال ولذلك جاءت في معظمها، صرخات احتجاج وتعبير معاناة وصمود.
