إن مسألة الروح الإنسانية وخلودها من أكبر المسائل الفلسفية وقد نازعتها الفلسفات المتضاربة والسلب قروناً طويلة، ولا غرو فهي اعلق المسائل بقلب الإنسان لأنها أمس الأمور به، وأكثرها علاقة بشؤونه، بل هي مطمأن آماله حين ينقطع رجاؤه من عالم الحسّ، ومُتنسم نفسه حين يعجز الوجود المادي عن متابعة أحلامه، وأمانيه، وإذا كانت مسألة "خلود الروح" عند الأقدمين موضوعاً فلسفياً وحسب، فقد تطورت في العصر الحديث وخاصة في القرن الماضي وهذا القرن إلى أبحاث علمية صرفة. وقد كثر بالاشتغال بالعلوم الروحية، وتألفت الجمعيات المتعددة لها في الكثير من دول العالم، وبدأت الصحف تكتب عن التجسدات الروحية، وعن ظواهر هذه التجسدات، فانتشرت أخبارها وألفت اللجان العلمية العديدة لدراستها والتحقق منها، وانقسم الناس عامة والعلماء خاصة إلى ثلاث أقسام: قسم يؤكد هذه التجسدات، بمشاهداته الشخصية أو بقراءاته المختلفة أو بفلسفته. وقسم آخر أنكر ذلك اشد الإنكار واعتبره كذباً وزوراً وتدليساً، وقسم ثالث احتار بين الفريقين فلم يعط رأياً في هذا الموضوع بعجزه عن تأكيد النفي والإثبات. وألفت الكتب الكثير من هذا الموضوع، كما صورت المجلات النفسية المتعددة التي تبحث موضوع الأرواح، وأصبحت القضية، قضية تجسدات الأرواح، مطروحة بشكل لافت للنظر على الرأي العالمي. فما هي حقيقة هذا الموضوع؟ وما هي الإثباتات القاطعة لتجسد الأرواح؟ أو كيف تتجسد الأرواح؟ وبأي مظهر تتمظهر؟ وماذا تفعل إذا تجسدت؟ عن كل هذه الأسلة وغيرها يجيب المؤلف "احمد حسن الشيخ" في هذا الكتاب الذي يضم بين طياته دراسة نظرية مدعمة بآيات قرآنية وأحاديث نبوية وبآراء العلماء، واستشهادات واقعية، خلاصة ما توصل إليه العلم حول هذه المسالة، ولعلم أهم كتاب عربي اعتمد عليه المؤلف في هذا المجال هو كتاب الدكتور "رؤوف عبيد" مفصل الإنسان روح لا جسد، ولكي يكون البحث موضوعياً، عني المؤلف بتضمين كتابه ملحقاً أثبت فيه آراء بعض مفكري قضية تجسّد الأرواح.
