يحيط هذا الكتاب بالأعمال الشعرية الكاملة للأديب " أنور سلمان " الشاعر اللبناني الذي تبوأ مكانة مرموقة بين مبدعي الشعر العربي المعاصر في لبنان ؛ بل ثمة من الدارسين من يعتبر أن أنور سلمان هو أحد أعلام ما يسمى بـ " المدرسة الشامية " في مجالات غنائية الشعر العربي المعاصر . ولكي يأتي شعر أنور سلمان في نصابه النقدي ، تضمن الكتاب قراءات نقدية في شعرية سلمان ، مع لمحات عن مساهماته الشعرية في المهرجانات في لبنان ودول عربية أخرى ، إذ نالت نصوصه للأغنية ، كما سائر عطاءاته الشعرية ، عدداً كبيراً من الجوائز والدروع التكريمية والتقديرات الثقافية .
