فكتاب "خلاصة المفاخر" الذي بين أيدينا، حقّاً خلاصة التصانيف الفاخرة في قطب الأولياء، المتحدثة عنه وعن أحوالة الظاهرة والباطنة، فقد جمع الشيخ اليافعي إحدى ومائتي حكاية وكرامة، كجزء من مفاخر الشيخ وآثاره الباقية رضي الله عنه وأرضاه.
علماً بأنه ضَمَّن كتابه "روض الرياحين" خمسمائة حكاية في أخبار السالفين من السادة الأخيار والصالحين.
وهذا إن دلَّ على شيء فإنما يدل على علو مكانة الشيخ عبد القادر وعظم قدره، وإنه رضي الله عنه ممن كتب الله له الظهور في الأرض كصورة وحُلة من حُلل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، إثباتاً لصحة الكرامة، وإمداداً لبقائها وإتصالها.
