لم يكن البحث في ظاهرة الحداثة مقتصرا على المجال التداولي الغربي فقط, انما كان له حضور أيضا في انتاجيات الخطاب الفلسفي العربي المعاصر سواء اكان على مستوى القراءة التاريخية والتحليلية وذلك بتتبع مساراتها وامتداداتها وبيان محدودية نتائجها وقصور آليتها التفسيرية ومضاعفاتها اللاأخلاقية على الانسان كما هو الحال مع عبد الوهاب المسيري في مشروع رؤية نقدية للفكر الغربي او على مستوى قراءتها من منطلق الدرس الأبستمولوجيا للمعرفة العلمية الغربية التي حاولت اتباع منهج التعميم أي تعميم المادة كمقولة تفسيرية على مجالات أخرى غير مادية لتبدا هذه المسيرة بثورة العلم على الفلسفة التي فككت المسلمات الإنسانية لتصل في النهاية الى الخلاصة المادية في شكلها الماركسي الجدلي التي فككت الذات الإنسانية.
ان هذا الكتاب فيه جزء من التفكير مع طه عبد الرحمن وليس فقط حديث عنه فما اكثر من يتحدث عن طه عبد الرحمن ولا يعرفه وما اقل من يفكر معه لأنك عندما تفكر معه فانت تتمثل منظومته في المفاهيم وتفكر بها, ولا تكتفي بان تفكر فيها فقط فالذي يفكر في مفاهيم الأستاذ طه لم يتعدى بعد طور الحديث عنه ان كان يعرفه حقا اما الذي يفكر بها ويستثمرها في بنائه التصوري ورؤيته التنظيرية فهو الذي فطر طريقا جديدا عنوانه ان نفكر مع طه عبد الرحمن على طريقة الكلمة السواء ولعل هذا ما يبدو في متن هذا الكتاب بخاصة في الإشكالات المتعلقة بالعقلانية وبالمفاهيم وبالتجديد الثقافي.
لقد أردنا في هذه الإشكالات الفكرية ان ننظر معه وان نفكر بمفاهيمه كي تتحول الى أدوات منهجية وآليات إجرائية لا يقتصر جهدها الإبداعي على حقول الفلسفة والمنطق فقط بل وهذا من اوكد المهام ان تكون بين يدي الباحثين في العلوم الاجتماعية والإنسانية لان هذه العلوم لا زال المنتمون اليها يعتقدون انهم امام علوم خالصة او بلغة طه عبد الرحمن علوم عبارية لا اثر للإشارة فيها.
