إنّه لم يعد خافياً اليوم في صلب الإشكاليات المعرفية الرّاهنة، بخاصة ضمن حقل العلوم حالة القلق من فقدان الأسس؛ بل أضحى هذا المعنى الواصف "فقدان الأسس" يعكس صورة العلم بالمعنى الذي يفكر فيها العقل؛ ففقدان الأسس وحالة الإنفصال والإختزال التي تطبع مَنْظُومات العلوم، وقد ألزمت العقل إجتياز الحدود الموروثة والمنبثقة عن الرؤية العلمية إلى العالم؛ التي شكّلت النّواة الرّئيسة لإنطلاق مشروع الفهم العلمي والعلائقي بين عالم الأشياء، والتي انتهت ليس إلى مزيد تبصيرنا ببنية العالم، وإنما إلى أزمات كُبرت بموجبها حالة اللاّيقين، وحالة الخوف من إنزلاق أسس توهم العقل الحديث، من أنها أسس صلبة.
إن تطوير النُّموذج في سياق المعرفة العلمية الرّاهنة، إن هو إلا شقُّ للتّفكير خارج الخُطاطة الديكارتية الباحثة عن قواعد لقيادة العقل وتوجيه المعرفة وفق مبادئ ترسخت حتى ظن الظّان أن لا مبادئ أخرى يمكن ان تحل محلّها.
ولهذا، فإن الملمح الجوهري للتفكّر المعاصر في سياق العلوم بخاصة علوم الإنسان، هو بلورة مبادئ أخرى لقيادة العقل، ولما كانت مبادئ قيادة العقل الديكارتية متجذّرة في النسق العلمي بخاصة في صورته الرياضية، فإننا نروم تجذير المبادئ ليس في نسق علمي مخصوص، وإنما في نسق آخر يعطي للقيمة دور المؤسس للمعرفة بعامة، وللمعرفة النفسية والإعلامية والعملية بخاصة كما هو في مجالات البحث ضمن كتابنا هذا.
