يسد هذا الكتاب ثغرة في تاريخ المنطقة السورية الرافدية في فترة القرنين التاسع والثامن قبل الميلاد، بذل الباحث فيه جهداً كبيراً على مدى سنوات عديدة حتى تمكن من الإحاطة بجوانب بحثه المختلفة.
