لعل من أهم أشكال التصدي لمحو الشخصية الفلسطينية وأرض فلسطين. إحياء الشخصية الفلسطينية وإحياء أرض فلسطين. لقد دمّر العدو الصهيوني أكثر من ثلاثمائة وستين قرية فلسطينية بعد عام 1948 وباتت هذه القرى أثراً بعد عين. وإذا كان العدو قد اتبع سياسة الضم والإغتصاب في وطننا المنكوب فإنه لن يستطيع أن يستخدم هذه السياسة مع عقولنا ووجداننا. والشعب الفلسطيني ما يزال هو شعب فلسطين يتمسك بمبادئه كما يتمسك بتراثه وأرضه. فالقرية مهما كبرت أو صغرت ما تزال حدودها وآثارها ومقابرها وأشجارها ومياهها تعيش في الذاكرة والوجدان ولا يمكن أن تمحى لأنها كالنقش على صخور الكهوف الكنعانية الأصلية.
وهذا الكتاب –طيرة حيفا- لبنة من لبنات التحدي والتصدي الوطني لإثبات عودة الحق لصاحبه. إنه يحيي القرية بسكانها وأشجارها بجذورها ومستقبلها. فعندما تدخل في صفحات هذا الكتاب ينقلك من الحاضر الى الماضي بأدق تفاصيله، ينقلك من حالة الشتات الى حالة الحياة النابضة بين صخور القرية ووديانها حاراتها ومنازلها ونضالها المسلح ضد الإحتلال والإستيطان.
ولعله من باب التشبث بالأمل ندعوا كل أبناء فلسطين أينما كانوا، أن يحيوا قراهم وتراب أرضهم والأمل يحدو الجميع أن تأخذ معركة التصدي للمحو والإفناء طريقها بكل أسلوب وبكل طريقة.
والكتابة الموضوعية عن أية قرية فلسطينية تصبح فرض عين على كل من ينتمي لفلسطين تماماً كما الجهاد في سبيل الله دفاعاً عن الأوطان التي تهاجم من قبل عدو أو طامع.
