الدكتور عبد اللطيف يتيم من مواليد كفردونين جنوب لبنان 1939. تابع دراسته الابتدائية في مدرسة جويا. وأنهى دراسته الثانوية في بيروت. من مؤسسي المعهد العربي في بيروت. عمل مديراً للمدرسة العربية في الغبيري. تخرج طبيباً عاماً من جامعة اشبيليا في اسبانيا. أنهى اختصاصه بالأمراض والجراحة النسائية في جامعة مدريد. أنهى دراسته العليا في الماجستير والدكتوراه من الجامعة نفسها عام 1985. صدر له باللغة الإسبانية: 1. تأثير غالينوس في العلاجات العربية. 2. علم التوليد والأطفال في كتاب عريب القرطبي. وباللغة العربية الروايات: 3. وانتحرت ماريا (ترجمت إلى اللغة الإسبانية). 4. من قتل أبي. 5. جارة الوادي. 6. من أجل أولادي. 7. سلطة المال. 8. المستبدة.
