هذا الكتاب شرح لطيف لمنظومة الورقات في أصول الفقه يتناول جانباً من علم أصول الفقه، من خلال كتاب نظم الورقات لشرف الدين بن عميرة الشهير بالعمريطي والذي نظمه لإمام الحرمين السيد محمد بن علوي المالكي الحسين / خادم العلم الشريف بالبلد الحرام. فجاء نظماً سهلاً يأنس القارىء باستحضاره وتلاوته عن ظهر قلب غيباً إذ أن النظم أحلى وأعذب وأسرع للحفظ من النثر خصوصاً ما كان على بحر الرجز. يقول:
فلم أجد مما سئلت بداً / وقد شرعت فيه مستمداً ، من ربنا التوفيق للصواب / والنفع في الدارين بالكتاب.
هذا، وقد جاء الشرح مبتدئاً بـ (باب أصول الفقه) وفيها عشرين باباً ومنها أقسام الكلام، والأمر والنهي، والخبر والنسخ، وحكم العلة المنصوصة من القياس، وما جاء في التعارض بين الأدلة والترجيح، والإجماع، والخبر، والقياس، والإفتاء والتقليد والإجتهاد، وغير ذلك مما سيجده القارىء من جزئيات وتفصيلات وأسئلة من الطلبة يجيب عنها الكتاب بالتفصيل والإيضاح.
