هذا الكتيب هو نص المحاضرة التي ألقيت في المؤتمر السنوي لرابطة الشباب المسلم في لندن.. والذي عُقد في الفترة ما بين 8 نيسان – 11 نيسان 1979م تحت شعار "الدعوة في الإسلام" وكان المحاضر هو مؤلف هذا الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا وهو المتحدث الرئيسي في هذا المؤتمر.
في هذا الكتاب يلقي المؤلف الأضواء على الأفكار والمفاهيم الرئيسية التي قامت عليها الثورة الإسلامية في إيران والتي تحولت فيما بعد إلى واقع هي جسدته الثورة الإسلامية ومنحته الحركة والحياة والدم.
يحاول الكاتب في هذه المحاضرة أن يقدم نظرية متكاملة الأطراف قوامها ذهنية إسلامية قرآنية في فهم السياسة. ويؤكد بأن القرآن الكريم يشيع هذه القضية ويتناولها من أطرافها جميعها، أي أنه يؤكد على أهمية ونجاح الثورة الإسلامية في إيران والتي بها يكمن النصر والقوة للمسلمين ضد أعداء الله.
ويقول: "إن عناصر النص أربعة: القوة، المال، التسديد، التثبيت" محاولاً إثبات حجته بآيات من الذكر الحكيم. مؤكداً أنه لا يمكن أن يفصل المسلم ما بين عقيدته والسياسة: "إن فصل العقيدة والإيمان بالله عن السياسة وتياراتها الجارفة ومعادلاتها المعقدة جاءت في فترة غفلة من هذه الأمة، ومع كل الأسف أن الناس استسلموا له سلوكياً ونظرياً أيضاً، وهو موضع المأساة والجرح. وكما سبق أن ذكرت: أن الجرح الذي تركه فصل الدين عن السياسة في جسم الأمة لم يكن بعمق وخطر الجرح الذي تركه فصل العقيدة عن السياسة في حياة أمتنا" ويعتبر "أن هذه المحن التي مرّت بالمسلمين هي الطريق إلى الجنة، وهي المدراج التي يصعدها الداعية لتزكية نفسه وتطهرها وتكميل نفسه".
كتاب هام يكشف للقارئ الأيديولوجية الثورية التي قامت على أساسها الثورة الإسلامية المباركة في إيران.
