هذا بحث كتبه الباحث اسماعيل بن علي الأكوع عن الإمام نشوان بن سعيد الحميري نشر في كتاب (دراسات عربية وإسلامية مهداة الى أديب العربية الكبير أبي فهو محمود محمد شاكر بمناسبة بلوغه السبعين) يعاد طبعه اليوم مستقلاً بعد مراجعته وتصحيحه، وتثقيفه وتهذيبه، ثم إضافة زوائد مفيدة اليه. ونشوان بن سعيد بن أبي حمير الحميري، هو عالم مبرز في اللغة والتفسير والنحو والصرف والأصول والفروع، والتاريخ والإنسان، وسائر فنون الآداب. عاش نشوان مؤمناً بعقيدته، مدافعاً عنها بقلمه ولسانه، حتى فارق الحياة بعد حياة طويلة، شهدت صراعاً فكرياً وعقائدياً وسياسياً كان عنيفاً، وما يزال صداه محتدماً حتى اليوم.
