إن تعلّم خط اللغة العربية أمر محمود جيد لتعلقه باللغة التي أُنزل فيها القرآن ولغة أهل الجنة أفضل اللغات، اللغة العربية، ومما قاله الأعلام في تعلم الخط: "علموا أولادكم الخط فإنه من مفاتيح الرزق".
من أجل ذلك أقبل المؤلف العمل على سلسلةِ تعليم الخطِّ الموجودةِ بين أيديكم، وقد حرص - ولا سيما في المستوى التعليمي الأول - على أن يكونَ أسلوبُ التعليمِ ذكياً مراعياً المرحلة التي يكون فيها خط الولد في أوّلِ خُطُواتِهِ، فابتعد قدرَ الإمكانِ عن الكلمات الطويلةِ المركبةِ من أحرفٍ كثيرة ليسهل على الولدِ التمرنَ على إتقان الأحرفِ ذاتِها حرفاً حرفاً، ثم بعدَ ذلك كانت المستوياتُ التاليةُ أرقى من حيثُ إحتياجُهَا للمهارةِ ليجعلَه يدخلُ شيئاً فشيئاً في الكلمات الأطولِ فالأطولِ، حتى يتمكَّنَ من كتابة الكلماتِ أوّلَ الكلمةِ وأثناءَها وأخِرَها، لكي تكتملَ عندَهُ الآلةُ وترسخَ فيه مَلكَةُ الخطِّ ليصدُرَ عنهُ بسهولةٍ ويُسْرٍ جميلاً منَمَّقاً.
