ينطوي معجم الأسماء الحسان من آيات القرآن الكريم على جملة أسماء استخرجها مؤلفه من بطون سور وآيات القرآن، فكانت أسماء (للذكور والإناث) رأى فيها المؤلف أسماء جميلة يمكن أن نختار منها لأطفالنا لما تتمتع به من معانٍ سامية.
ولكي يسهل على القارىء مهمته في الحصول على الإسم الذي يرغب به اتبع المؤلف عدداً من الخطوات المنهجية تبدأ بالتدرج بالإسم من تثبيت المفردة من الآية، ثم ثبت رقم الاية وإسم السورة وأتبعها بالمعنى المأخوذ من تفسير الاية. وبعد ذلك يرجع إلى المعاجم ويُصرف الإسم على وفق ما صرّفه صاحب ترتيب القاموس المحيط، فيورد المفردة من القرآن كما هي نحو: أوّاب، وأبكار، .. الخ وفي هذا السياق يدعو المؤلف القارىء أن يتدرج مع تصريفات الكلمة حتى النهاية من القاموس لعله يختار أحدها بعناية ...
