“مختارات من الهايكو الفارسي” هو كتاب يذهب نحو توثيق هذه الروح الفنية عن الشعراء الإيرانيين خصوصا الشباب منهم، وهذا ما يقدمه الكتاب الأنف الذكر عن كيف أصبح الارتباط باللحظة الحاضرة، يقابله ذوبان في الطبيعة، بالرصد الكامل لتلك اللحظة بعينها، التي تتناغم فيها مفردات الطبيعة نفسها، معبرة عن العالم بفكرة مجردة واضحة وجلية، يصيغها شاعر “الهايكو” بكثير من البراعة والرشاقة وتكثيف المعنى، وهذا ما جعل الشعراء الإيرانيين، يجدون في “الهايكو” الفارسي ملعبهم، فهم قد ورثوا بدورهم الشعر الصوفي، وهو شعر مليء بالحكايات والرموز والصور المجازية، إن كان في أشعار “حافظ الشيرازي وجلال الدين الرومي وفريد الدين العطار وعمر الخيام” ، لذا لن تكون الصفات الفنية التي تعتبر من خواص “الهايكو” الياباني، بعيدة في البنية الدلالية عن الهايكو الفارسي الذي تحضر فيه تلك العناصر أيضا الفنية أيضا كما في بعض المقاطع التي يوردها الكتاب: “لا تصلح لشيء/ ولا يمكن رميها/ صنادل أمي” “نتحدث/ تمر الغيوم بهدوء/ في نظاراتها”
