ولأن القراءات والمواقف تختلف بين كاتب وآخر، تتحدد قراءة المؤلف في مقدمة كتابه عبر "نظرة سريعة على الربيع العربي" بالقول: " في ظل انقلاب الأوضاع في المنطقة العربية فيما تم التعريف به إعلامياً على أنه "ربيع عربي" والذي تحتاج لكشف خباياه لزمن أطول ولبحوث أكبر لأن ما يحدث جرى وحدث خارج سياق نظريات الثورات العالمية القديمة والحديثة المعروفة. كمنتوج لخروج الثورات الناعمة والفوضى الخلاّقة عن السيطرة الإستخباراتية عليها، ناهيك عن تداخل آليات هذه الثورات مع الحراك الشبابي العالمي الذي يتخذ من وسائل الإتصال الحديثة للتواصل والتثقيف الحركي الإنقلابي على الواقع الحالي والمغير بهذا الحراك الشبابي العالمي، أنه غير مؤدلج بأيديولوجية أو فكر أو توجد لديه قيادة واضحةّ خلافاً لما هو معروف في تنظيم حركة الثورة نظرياً (...)".
