من مواليد ليبيا براك الشاطي 1953م تحصَّل على البكلوريوس في الخدمة الاجتماعية بتقدير ممتاز مع درجة الشرف الأول على الخريجين بقسم الخدمة الاجتماعية 1977م.
قُبِلً معيداً بالقسم 1978م.
تحصًّل على الماجستير في التنمية البشرية من جامعة جورج واشنطن الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية 1981م، ثمَّ تحصٍّلَ على الدكتوراه في الخدمة الاجتماعية جامعة طرابلس 1992م.
يشغل الآن درجة أستاذ بجامعة طرابلس كلية الاداب.
وقد شغل منصب أمين التعليم والبحث العلمي ب طرابس، ثم شغل منصب وزيرا للتعليم العالي بليبيا، ومن بعده شغل منصب وزير التنمية البشرية

و هذا الكتاب قراءة جديدة في حياة النبي آدم عليه السلام، وتصحيح لمفاهيم خاطئة سادت بين شرائح اجتماعية وثقافية متعددة، فكان البحث تصحيحاً لما اعوجّ، ورأباً للصدع، وبياناً لما التبس.
و كان المنهج واضحاً في تحديد شخصية آدم عليه السلام، إذا استقى من النص القرآني، والهدي النبوي، وكان الحوار عقلياً منطقياً عبر تاريخ طويل، بدأ بالجنة، وانتهى في الأرض.
