مرافعات المحامين وأعضاء النيابة دائماً أبد الدهر، كانت قطعاً من البيان وعبارات من جواهر اللغة، كانت على مر الزمان كفاحاً ونضالاً ضد الطغاة من الحكام، وفي جانب المظلوم من الرعية سيما القضايا السياسية التي انتهكت بها الحريات، ففي شجاعة نادرة وقفوا للحفاظ على حريات المواطنين وشرفهم.
- فإن المحاماة - وهي إحدى قلاع الحرية في الأوطان - تسمو إلى أعلى الدرجات الرفيعة وإنها لمهنة الحرية والكرامة والكفاح في مختلف مناحي الحياة وفي كل زمان ومكان، إذ أن المحاماة خلق ونجدة وشجاعة ومثابرة وثقافة وتفكير، ودرس وتمحيص وبلاغة وتذكير، وجلد وثقة بالنفس وإستقلال في الرأي، وإستقامة وإخلاص في الدفاع.
لذلك رأى المؤلف أن يعرض لأبناء الأمة العربية من المثقفين جزءاً من هذه الكلمات الغالية، وأن يخلد جزءاً من هذه المرافعات التاريخية لرجال القضاء، والنيابة ورجالات المحاماة من شبابها وشيوخها علها تنفعهم في مشوارهم المقدس... مشوار تحقيق العدالة... فسوف أعرض لمرافعات محامين كانوا يوقنون أنه بعد إنتهاء المرافعة سوف يساقون إلى الإعتقالات ظلماً وعدواناً... ورغم ذلك، ترافعوا بشجاعة... ترافعوا من أجل الدفاع عن الحق... ترافعوا من أجل التاريخ...
ولهذا نسجل لهم تاريخهم المشرف... سجل لهم إيمانهم برسالتهم... سجل لهم أنهم لم يهابوا الإعتقال ولم يعبأوا بسياط المجرمين العتاة... بل خافوا الحق جل وعلاج فترافعوا ونددوا مطبقين قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "الساكت عن الحق شيطان أخرس"... فلم يكونوا شياطين بل كانوا نصراء الحق دائماً ودوماً.
