كان الخطاب الديني لأهل البيت عليهم السلام وما يزال نبعاً ثراً ورافداً غزيراً من روافد العربية، تضمن من عجائب البلاغة، وغرائب الفصاحة ما لا يوجد مجتمعاً في كلام، فكان أهل البيت عليهم السلام أئمة البلاغة والفصاحة على مرّ العصور.
ويضاف إلى ذلك أنّه محور مهم من محاور الوعي الحضاري والإنساني، لأنّهم الثقل الأصغر الذي لا يفترق عن الثقل الأكبر وهو كتاب الله تعالى حتى يردا على حوض النبي الكريم (صلى الله عليه وسلم).
فجاءت هذه الدراسة محاولة لكشف مراميه، وجنى قطوفه، على وفق منهج جديد أخرج اللسانيات مما كانت عليه بعزلها اللغة عما يحيط بها من متكلم ومتلق وأثرهما، أي بإعتنائها باللغة دون الكلام وبالكفاءة دون الأداء، فجردت النصوص واختزلتها ولم تصل إلى مرادها، فجاءت التداولية لتهتم بجانب مهمّ وهو التواصل البشري، وهو يعني بعلاقات العلامة اللغوية بمستخدميها، يحلل الخطاب في علاقته بالسياق التواصلي، والتركيز على أفعال الكلام، وإستكشاف العلامات المنطقية الحجاجية، والإهتمام بالسياق التواصلي والتلفظي وبتعبير آخر، تركيزها على المتكلم وعلاقته بالمتلقي وكيفية فهم الأخير لما يريده المتكلم بالضبط لا ما تعنيه العبارة، وبهذا تكون التداولية قد تجاوزت سؤال البنية وسؤال الدلالة، لتهتم بسؤال الوظيفة والرسالة والسياق.
