ومع ذلك، فمَثَل الزؤان يشير بوضوح إلى أنَّ بذور الشقاق والتنافر حاضرة في هذه الدنيا، ولا داعي للإستغراب، فالمنازعات قائمة في الكنيسة منذ البداية، وهي في الواقع حضاريّة أساساً، ثمّ تحوَّلت إلى مشاحنات دينيَّة.
