على كتاب "أحمد بن علي بن مسعود" (مراح الأرواح في علم الصرف) صنف المولى شمس الدين أحمد المعروف بــ "ديكنقوز" شرحه، وهو ما يتضمنه متن هذا الكتاب وصله، وقد جاء في سبعة أبواب سبقها خطته الكتاب، ثم كان أولها في بيان بناء الصحيح وبيان أمثلة الماضي، وتدخل المضمرات في الماضي وأخواته، كذلك في المستقبل والأمر والنهي واسم الفاعل واسم المفعول، وفي أسمى الزمان والمكان واسم الآلة.
أما الباب الثاني فقد جاء في المضاعف ثم الثالث في المهوز، والرابع في المعتل، والخامس في الأجوف، والسادس في الناقص؛ وأخيراً الباب السابع في اللفيف.
ولكن الكتاب لا ينتهي بإنتهاء ما في متنه مما صنفه "ديكنقوز" وإنما هناك أيضاً ما نجده في هامش الكتاب مما صنفه شرح ذات الكتاب مع أخذه في الإعتبار شرح ما غمض فن شرح "ديكنقوز".
