يقلق البعض من مصطلح الجديد، ومن مفردة التجدد، بينما هما من مصطلحات الشرع الحيوية، فالتجدد يعني الحركة، والحركة تعني التغيير والتطوير، والتطوير والتغيير حياة، ليس هناك إمكانية أن يحتل فرد أو تتصدر مجموعة الصدارة في مجتمع حضاري إلا بأهليتها وتأهيلها بروح العصر ولغته، والتجدد على مستوى الوطن هو تبشير بمستقبل أفضل من خلال محاولة فهم التحولات ومهارة التعامل معها، بالطبع لن يتأتى التجديد من فراغ، ولن يكون وفق أمزجة وطباع، بل و تجدد المعرفة، والعلم، والإفادة من التجارب، وما يعزز مصداقية التجدد هو ما يترتب عليه من رقي مستوى الوعي، وإرتفاع معدل الإنسجام بين النخب، والإيمان بأن الوطن أسمى ما نُجمع عليه وإن اختلفنا في طرائق محبتنا له، فلكل عاشق طريقته في التعبير عن حبه، وأرى أن وطننا تجدد في عامين بل تقدم وقفز قفزات محسوبة لأنه آمن بقدرات العقل البشري، ووثق بإمكانات الشباب، وتخطى مخاوف الوهم وتوهم المخاوف، وها نحن نعترف بأننا نتجدد في ظل وطن متجدد وقيادة جعلت من التجديد عنواناً.
