يتجاوز هذا الكتاب عنوانه "الصحوة في ميزان الإسلام - وعّاظ يحكمون عقول السعوديين" ليتناول نشأة معظم التيارات الإسلامية والمنظمات فكراً وممارسات. بداية من الأئمة السلفيين إلى المتأثرين بهم، وقادة "الصحوة" و"الإخوان" و"القاعدة" و"الخمينية" وسواهم.
ويجيب الدكتور علي بن محمد الرباعي والناشط السابق في "الصحوة" عن كثير من الأسئلة حول هؤلاء الوعّاظ الذين سرعان ما يتكاثر أتباعهم وينتشرون في أصقاع الأرض بأفكارهم وأسلحتهم ومتفجراتهم. فما الذي يجمع بين تلك التنظيمات وما علاقتها بحقيقة الدين؟.
