ويحلل الكتاب حالة التوتر والتراجع الذي أصاب العلاقات بين تركيا و"إسرائيل"، بعد الاعتداء الذي تعرضت له سفينة مرمرة التركية من القوات الإسرائيلية؛ وسقوط شهداء أتراك على متنها، مع المواقف التركية إزاء ذلك وإصرارها على شروطها، ومنها رفع الحصار عن قطاع غزة. وعلاقة ذلك كله بالقضية الفلسطينية، ودعم تركيا للمقاومة الفلسطينية، وحرصها على أن تكون لاعباً سياسياً فاعلاً في المنطقة من خلال الملف الفلسطيني.
