ثم يخصص المؤلف جزءاً هاماً للحديث عن الجواد السوري الأصيل عبر التاريخ، فيذكر أماكن وجودها ومالكيها، ويتحدث عن المعارك التي خاضتها جيوش المسلمين بإستخدام تلك الخيول، ولا يفوت المؤلف ذكر القصائد والأشعار التي تغنّت بالخيول العربية الأصيلة.
