لذلك يقطع منذ البدء مع الكتابة المسبوقة بالوثوق، لأنه مزحوم بالدهشة أبداً، مسكون بالسؤال، برَيْبٍ لافت للنظر، بعيداً عن سفسطائيّة افتعال المساءلات أو عبثية البحث عن اللا – معنى، بل هو الوثوق الذي يُحيل على تجربة معيشة مُشاهَدَة محسوسة مُضنية دامية أحياناً كثيرة. وهو أيضاً ارتعاشة السؤال المفاجئ يُبدد الضوءَ بكثيف العَتمة، كدوران سريع لا يستقرّ على وضع، إذ يختصر الأزمنة ودَفْق الليالي والنهارات في خضمّ الوجود اللا – متناهي. فهو لا يدعو إلى حِكمة، ولا ينصح برأي، ولا يقترح إجابة، ولا يشي باتجاه لاعتقاده الضمنيّ بأنّ الكتابة نداء مفتوح باستمرار على القراءة المتعددة بـ”شراكة” مُخصبة، وإقرار بأنها، أي الكتابة، سليلة القراءة قبل أن يتشكّل البياضُ حروفاً بعد استوائه الحَرَكيّ المنقوص بـ”جاهز النصّ” وثابت الاسم (العنوان). (…) فالياس فركوح واحِدٌ في عَدَد، والعدد موصوف بسرعة الانتقال من جنس أدبيّ إلى آخر، ومن أسلوب إلى أسلوب مختلف، “وحين ينتقل بين الرواية والقصة والنصّ والمقالة يأخذ معه اللغةَ ذاتها. أعني أنه يعبر بين هذه الأجناس وهو هو: بِلُغة لا يُضطر إلى ترحيلها أو تبسيطها أو طأطأتها..”- بحسب الشاعر زهير أبو شايب.
