حسن سامي يوسف كاتب و سينمائي فلسطيني سوري.
حياته
ولد في قرية لوبيا (قرب طبرية) في فلسطين سنة 1945م. حينما وقعت نكبة فلسطين عام 1948 التجأت عائلته إلى لبنان ثم إلى سوريا. وأقامت في دمشق، حيث تلقّى تعليمه الابتدائي والإعدادي في مدراس الأونروا، والثانوية في ثانوية عبد الرحمن الكواكبي.
بعد الثانوية، عمل ممثلاً في المسرح القومي في دمشق، وبعد نكسة عام 1967، ساهم مع عدد من الشباب الفلسطيني في تشكيل فرقة المسرح الوطني الفلسطيني التي قدّمت عروضاً كثيرة على مسارح العواصم العربية.
في سنة 1968 أرسلته وزارة الثقافة في سورية لدراسة السينما في الاتحاد السوفيتي في المعهد العالي للسينما في موسكو ( كلية السيناريو) فتخرج منها بعد خمس سنوات وعاد إلى دمشق حاملاً الماجستير في هذا الفن، فعين في المؤسسة العامة للسينما كرئيس لدائرة النصوص ولا زال على رأس عمله. وهو عضو في هيئة تحرير مجلة الحياة السينمائية التي تصدر في دمشق.
أهم أعماله
وعمل مستشاراً درامياً للكثير من الأفلام منها: وقائع العام المقبل، حادثة نصف متر، نجوم النهار، رسائل شفهية، الليل، صعود المطر، الطحالب.
