يتناول الفصل الأول: مفهوم الإعلام الكوني ووسائله الدولية الحديثة: طبعات دولية للصحف، الإذاعة الفضائية، التلفزيون الفضائي، أما الفصل الثاني: فيعرض إنجازات تكنولوجيا الأقمار الصناعية وكيفية إستخدامها فضلاً عن شرح وافي لمكونات القمر الصناعي وكيفية عمله وأنواع الأقمار العاملة في فضائنا، ونتوقف عند الفصل الثالث (تكنولوجيا التلفزيون الفضائي) وفيه مقدمة سريعة للتجديدات الحاصلة في وسيلة التلفزيون الكوني، وأنواعه وأهمية التغيرات المتواصلة مع العصر الإلكتروني بإستخدام البث الفضائي التلفزيوني المباشر عبر الأقمار الصناعية.
وفي الفصل الرابع: نعطي إستعراض شامل لنماذج عالمية وعربية للقنوات الفضائية العاملة بأقمار البث المباشر ونتوقف قليلاً لإعطاء الصورة الحضارية للموقف العربي من البث الفضائي المباشر الذي كثر الجدل حوله بين التأييد والرفض.
وينتهي الكتاب بالفصل المستقبلي (تكنولوجيا المستقبل) وفيه تبسيط لأهم وسيلتين إعلاميتين (كونيتين) هما الإنترنت، والهاتف الخلوي... وإرتباطهما معاً ليلعبا بالكون ويخترقانه بالطول والعرض، ويقدما خدمة واسعة للجمهور المستقبل رغم الأخطار والعيوب.
