يُعدُّ هذا المقال في الأسلوبية والتداولية مهماً من جهة كونه يكوّن لقارئه ملخّصاً نظرياً عاماً يمكّنه من تمثُّل المشهدِ الأسلوبيِّ المعاصر سواء كان ذلك بالنسبة إلى تاريخ الأسلوبية أو بالنسبة إلى حاضرها أو ربّما مستقبلها كذلك فهو، وإن ورد في شكل إلمامة عامّة غير مُسهبة، فإنّه يضبط، في كثير من الدقّة، المسار الذي قطعته الأسلوبية لتستويَ علماً رغم ما حاق بها في بعض الردهات من نزعات نادت بإقصائها وإعدامها، ولكنها (أي الأسلوبية) ظلت ممارسة علمية تنتسب إلى اللسانيات وتنفتح أبوابها على النقد الأدبيّ مستمدة منه المدونة الأدبية مادّةً للتحليل الأسلوبيّ.
فالأسلوبية سليلة اللسانيات انصهرت مع النقد الأدبي وغيره من العلوم الإنسانية (الصوتيات، الصوتمية، التركيبية، المعجمية، علم الدلالة..) فنشأت عن هذه التقاطعات مدارسُ أسلوبية، أوجزَ هذا المقالُ المترجمُ الحديثَ عنها دون كبيرٍ تبسّطٍ ولا توسُّع.
فالأسلوبية وإن تنوَّعت تياراتها، فبعضها متألّف مع بعض وبعضها مختلف عن بعض، فإنها عقدت صلات مع ممارسات علمية أخرى على النصوص، كالذي تجده في السردية narratologie خاصّة، كما تبلورت في أعمال الشكلانيين الروس ومن بعدهم.
من هذه الزاوية، يمكن تبيَّنُ مدرسيةِ الفصل بين المناهج التي تمت جميعها في أحضان اللسانيات (البنيوية) متواشجةً متعالقةً، ولعلّ التصوّر العامّ الذي يقترحه جورج مولينييه Georges Molinié والذي يعتبر فيه أنّ الأسلوبية هي السيمياء الأدبية sémiotique narrative لعله يساعد على إقامة متين الصلات بين كلا الفنّين.
