"الحلقة النقدية" كتاب يبحث في الحلقة الهرمنيوطيقية الشهيرة، كما تجلت في ميداني البحث التاريخي والنقد الأدبي خاصة. وقد استخدمت هذه الحلقة في الهرمنيوطيقا الفلسفية، عند (مارتن هيدغر) و(هانز جورج غادامير)، المبدأ الأساس في تفهم الإنسان لطبيعته وموقفه. وتكمن مهمة الفلسفة النقدية في اكتشاف مثل هذه الشروط ووصفها. بهذا يوحي مصطلح النقدية Critical بأن الحلقة ليست مجرد سمة عارضة لنقد النصوص الأدبية بل هي، عكس ذلك، مقولة اكتشفتها الفلسفة النقدية لتكون الأساس الذي لا يستغني عنه التفكير الإنساني كله.
ويبقى السؤال قائماً: هل تواجه الإنسانيات عامة، والعلوم الأدبية خاصة، مثل هذه الأزمة أم لا؟
يحاول أن يقدم هذا الكتاب، رغبة عامة في إعادة التفكير بطبيعة التأويل الأدبي ذاتها، يرافقها الأمل غالباً، بالتغلب على هذه الأزمة من طريق جعل التأويل أكثر موضوعية وعلمية، وهذا ما جعل الفلسفة الهرمنيوطيقية تهدف حصر إلى إثارة التأمل، وتحدي اليقين المزعوم في المناهج السائدة، ولكن، هل يمكن أن تكون حلاً لمثل هذه الأزمة.
