من أجل إحياء تراث الإمام الحسين المتصل بتراث أهل البيت عليهم السلام وسيرتهم المباركة، كان لا بد من إلقاء الضوء على المصنفات التي تناولت قضية الإمام الحسين، وهو الشيء الذي قام به مؤلف الكتاب سماحة الشيخ محمد صادق الكرباسي، بجهوده الفردية، وبإمكانياته المتواضعة، فبدأ باحثاً ومنقباً ومفتشاً عن هذا التاريخ المجيد والكم الهائل من المصنفات التي أُلفت في هذا المجال، فاستخرجها لنا وحفظها في موسوعته العملاقة (دائرة المعارف الحسينية) جزاه الله كل خير.
وفي هذا الجزء الذي بين يديك، وهو الجزء الثالث من هذا الكتاب يكمل سماحته عرض درره (المصنفات الحسنية) بادئاً من حيث انتهى في الجزء الثاني، وبالتحديد بالرقم (403) منتهياً بالرقم (643) ، ولا زال هنا في حرف الألف، مع عرض موجز للمكتبات التي ورد ذكرها في هذا الكتاب في فصل مستقل ومنها: المكتبة الآصفية، مكتبة خليفة، مكتبة دار الكتب المصرية، مكتبة سلطان المتكلمين ... وغيرها، ويتبع ذلك مسرد بأسماء الكتب (المصنفات) مع تحديد إسم المؤلف وعصره وعنوان كتابه ومضمونه.
