الخصائص الحسينية، كتاب يتحدث عن سيرة الإمام الحسين (ع)، تأليف الشيخ جعفر التستري (الشوشتري) (ت 1303 هـ). قام الشيخ بدراسة خصائص الإمام الحسين (ع) وانتفاضة عاشوراء. وفي ختام الكتاب تناول المؤلف مواضيع: المجالس الحسينية وأهميتها ومحظوراتها، وثواب زيارة مرقد الإمام الحسين (ع). اسم الكتاب الأصلي خصائص الحسين ومزايا المظلوم، وقد تُرجم الكتاب إلى لغات مختلفة وطُبع عدّة مرات.
اسم الكتاب هو "خصائص الحسين (ع) ومزايا المظلوم" ويشتهر بالخصائص الحسينية. وقد تتبّع المولف خصائص ومميزات الإمام الحسين (ع) وفأحصى 300 خصيصة ومميزة وأوردها ضمن 30 قسم لم يتوفر منها إلا 12 قسم في مجلد واحد. من أهم مميزات الامام التي تم تناولها: مكانته في عوال الوجود من بدء خلق نوره (ع) الى بعد يوم الجزاء، احداث الولادة والشهادة، مكانته يوم القيامة، بيان لكرمات الامام (ع)
