تتقاطع "السيرة الفاطمية" مع تاريخ الدولة العربية الإسلامية في عهد الرسول الأكرم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم لتروي لنا "صفحات من حياة السيدة فاطمة الزهراء عليها السلام"، وتدخل في علاقات متواشجة تبرز أثر الدعوة المحمدية بالأفراد وتعكس أيضاً، تأثير اللحظة التاريخية التي ولدت فيها سيدة نساء العالمين، والتي بشّر بها الله تعالى أمة الإسلام بمجيء هذه السيدة الكريمة "فكانت فاطمة، الطاهرة المطهرة، وقد شعّ نورها حتى دخل كل بيوت مكة، وكان ذلك في سحر يوم الجمعة، العشرين من شهر جمادي الثانية بعد خمس سنوات من البعثة الشريفة".
والقصة موجهة إلى الأولاد وتهدف إلى تعريفهم بسيرة حياة إبنة رسول الله ومكانتها عند أبيها وقومها فهي "تحمل روح رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وصفاته وأخلاقه ولم يكن أحد يماثل صفات وشمائل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كإبنته فاطمة عليها السلام .. وبهذا المعنى أراد المؤلف أن يبعث إلى الناشئة برسالة أن يتصفوا بصفات أهل بيت النبوة ويدافعوا عن دينهم ويتعلموا معنى الجهاد في سبيل الله.
هذا، وقد حملت "السيرة الفاطمية" عدداً من العناوين ، يتحدث كل عنوان عن مرحلة من مراحل حياة السيدة فاطمة الزهراء، وهي: الولادة المباركة، الطفولة الحزينة، الحصار وعام الأحزان، الهجرة إلى يثرب، زواج الزهراء عليها السلام، الزهراء مع علي في بيته، فضائل وكرامات، زهد الزهراء، جهاد الزهراء، الرحيل الحزين، بداية المحن، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
