إحياء ذكرى الإمام الحسين عليه السلام هو إحياء لذكرى الأنبياء والرسل، وإحياء للفكر المعتدل وصوت الحق ونبض القلب الفاعل، كما يقول المؤلف لا بد من إبراز أحكام إحياء شعائر هذه الذكرى من مباني الفقه الإسلامي.
لذلك قام المؤلف بوضع هذا الكرّاس الذي يتضمن كل تلك الأحكام، مجيباً في مقدمته التمهيدية عن سؤال لماذا الإمام الحسين؟ لينتقل فيما بعد إلى الحديث عن أهمية نهضته سلام الله عليه ومبادئ النهوض في وجه الطغاة والظالمين التي لا تنحصر بزمان محدد ولا مكان محدد ولا فئة محددة، مشدداً على بعض الجوانب الهامة كإعطاء ذكرى عاشوراء الميزة التي أرادها أهل البيت عليهم السلام وضرورة تطوير هذه الشعائر الحسينية، وعلى أهمية المحافظة على هذه الشعائر، والحيلولة دون قلعها من النفوس والقلوب.
