إهتم القرآن الكريم بالسياسية وهذه حقيقة تتجلى أمامنا من خلال النقاط التالية: القرآن الكريم يتضمن العبادات والتشريع، والتشريع بحاجة إلى منفذ والمنفذ بحاجة إلى سلطة، أي لا بد من وجود دولة حتى يمكن تطبيق الأحكام القرآنية؛ فالخطاب موجه إلى الأمة لتنفيذ هذه العقوبة، والأمة القدرة لا تستطيع بأجمعها أنْ تقوم بهذا الأمر، فلا بد من أن ينوب عنها جماعة وتعطيها الأمة القدرة اللازمة لتنفيذ هذه الأحكام.
وهذا هو الإطار العام للحكم الإسلامي؛ كما لو دققنا في مقاصد القرآن الكريم لوجدنا أنها تصب في مجرى حياة الإنسان بكافة جوانبها وأبعادها ومنها الجانب السياسي، ثانيها وعد من أخذ به وتبشيره بحسن المثوبة ووعيد من لم يأخذ به وإنذاره بسوء العقوبة، وثالثهما العبادة التي تحي التوحيد في القلوب وتثبته في النفوس، رابعها بيان سبيل السعادة وكيفية السير فيه الموصل إلى نعم الدنيا والأخرة، خامسها قصص من وقف عند حدود الله تعالى وأخذ بأحكام دينه وأخبار الذين تعدوا حدوده ونبذوا أحكام دينه ظهرياً لأجل الإعتبار وإختيار طريق المحسنين ومعرفة سنن الله البشر.
وتخلص هذه الأهداف الخمسة بهدف واحد، هو بناء الإنسان الصالح المستعد لتحميل أعباء الحياة والذي هو المحور الرئيسي للقرآن فكل خطاباته هي للناس من أجل أن يصلحوا أنفسهم ويطوروا حياتهم نحو الأفضل، ومن أجل أن تتحقق العدالة ويتحقق الإزدهار ليستطيع الإنسان أن يحيا حياة صالحة في ظل هذه العدالة، وهذه هي أهداف سامية وضعها كل صاحب نظرية سياسية نصب عينيه وجعلها كل سياسي هدفاً يسعى من أجله.
وقد بدأت رحلة هذه الدراسة من اللفظ القرآني فهو المادة الأصلية للقرآن الكريم وهو الزاد في البحث عن الفكر السياسي في القرآن الكريم، وأي بحث في القرآن الكريم يستدعي تناول النص بإعتباره الوحدة الصغيرة المتضمنة للأفكار والمشتملة على الرؤى القرآنية، وعملية إستخراج هذه الأفكار تتطلب تحليلاً للفظ القرآني.
