تعد ممارسة الهرمينوطيقة النقدية بعدا انطولوجيا ينفتح على صيرورة ديالكتيكية قائمة على أساس التناقض والتضاد والمراوغة التي تتكشف عن إيديولوجية زيف العقل الأداتي الذي ارتبط بكينونة الحداثة، وما أضفاه من شرعية عقلية على الهيمنة والسيطرة التي أخضعت الطبيعة والإنسان لسلطة النقدية.
فالهرمينوطيقة النقدية بوصفها ممارسة إجتماعية متطعمة بالفلسفة التي ظهرت في بداية القرن العشرين في ألمانيا مشكلة مدرسة نقدية عرفت بإسم مدرسة في فرانكفورت التي انطلقت من خلفيات كانظية، وهيغيلية، وماركسية، والفرويدية مجسدة حالة من الجدل والنقد الذي فضح زيف إيديولوجية العقل الأدائي الذي مثل بالنسبة لهم مرحلة من القصور أو لكونه مشروع حداثوي لم يكتمل، إذ قد هيمنت على أثره النقدية على مناطق وأشياء الحياة التي لم تكن من إختصاص التقنية مثل الجمال والأخلاق، ولذلك طالب العقل التواصلي أن يكون العقل الأدنى جزء منه (العقل التواصل).
ولما كان مرام هذا الكتاب الولوج إلى قلب المشاريع التأويلية النقدية التي قامت بها على إرث العقل النقدي الغربي، فضلاً عن تجاوزها وتضادها للعقل الأداتي فقد شكلت متعرجاً فكرياً وثقافياً وفلسفياً يمكن أن يعدّ جسوراً من الحوار بين العقل العربي والعقل الغربي.
فالفكر النقدي هو ما يحتاجه العقل العربي في مرحلته التاريخية التي يمر بها في عصرنا الحالي، إذ من خلال التعرف على آراء الآخر والإعتراف به يمكن أن يساعده على تشكل نوعاً من المجتمع المتجانس والمتوافق إجتماعياً ولا سيما في ظل الثورات العربية وسلطة الشعوب الجديدة.
