ونحن نراقب مراراً وتكراراً، في أمريكا وفي العديد من دول أوروبا، مشاهد الكيد والحقد والاحتقار للجنس العربي، وللإنسان العربي، بسحنته وعاداته ودينه وممارساته الحياتية. ونحن نراقب إصرار الولايات المتحدة على الممارسات الأمنية المتعسفة بحق العرب والمسلمين ثم بحق الدول العربية والإسلامية وبخاصة السعودية والعراق ومصر، وآخر تلك الممارسات القرار 1371 بشأن الإرهاب والقرار 1441 بشأن العراق.. ونحن نراقب كل ذلك نسترجع في عقولنا وأرواحنا تاريخاً مريراً من الصراعات والعلاقات المتوترة بين بلادنا وأمتنا وبين الغرب، الذي انضمت إليه مؤخراً إسرائيل.
ونحن نراقب هذا الإصرار الغربي على إلغاء خصوصيات الدين الإسلامي، واحتلال البلاد العربية واستعباد الإنسان العربي، بشتى أصناف المغريات أو بقوة السياسة والمال والقمع والمؤامرات نشاهد ونحن نراقب هذا التاريخ الأسود، تاريخ الكراهية، الذي قدّمنا خلاله نحن المسلمون والعرب الممارسات الإنسانية والأخلاقية والعلمية، وقدموا لنا فيه الخيانة والقتل والتدمير والتآمر، في محاولة للسيطرة والإلغاء.
إلا أن التاريخ يشهد بأننا نحن المسلمين رفضنا العبودية الغربية قديماً، ابتداءً من مقاومة الروم وتوسعهم، ثم الفرس وتوسعهم، وتلك الحملات الصليبية، والتتار، وفي العصر الراهن الاتحادات الأوروبية المصرة على احتلال الشرق، وإيقاف الحركة العلمية والحضارية فيه.
وبموازاة تلك المقاومة العسكرية والنفسية، أقام المسلمون في أرجاء العالم دولة قوية متماسكة، وحركة إبداعية شكّلت الأمل الحقيقي للإنسانية نحو الانعتاق من قيود الجهل والارتهان للتخلف، وهي الحركة العلمية التي سيقوم الدكتور أحمد طحان بالحديث عنها من خلال بيانات موثقة في هذا الكتاب وذلك بغاية التأكيد على أن الغرب لم يقدم للشرق سوى الكراهية ومحاولة الإلغاء، وهو اليوم متحداً مع الصهاينة، لن يقدم سوى الكراهية ومحاولة الإلغاء بثوبها الجديد، ما يجعلنا نخشى من عولمة الكراهية.
