برؤية فنية، يهندس عبد الله حبيب، رسائله في "الفراغ الأبيض الذي سَيَلي" وقد اتخذ مادتها الأولية من حياة حافة بالتجارب والتفاصيل تشارك عيشها مع آخرين من أصدقاء وأحباب وأهل، وهي كما تبدو في الكتاب عبارة عن مجموعة كبيرة من الرسائل بعث بها الكاتب إلى أصدقاء من مختلف الأصقاع منها رسائل إجتماعية تحتوي على تهانٍ وتعازٍ، ومنها رسائل إبداعية فكرية وفلسفية وأدبية يقدم فيها الكثير من الخلاصات المعرفية عن فنون مختلفة ذات طابع إبداعي. وإذا كان الكتاب يبدأ رسائله باستعارة مقولة اللورد بايرن الذي يقول "كتابة الرسائل هي الوسيلة الوحيدة لمزاوجة العزلة والرفقة الطيبة" فإن عبد الله حبيب يمارس هذه المقولة في كتابته. فبدا مشغولاً بسرد الكثير من اللقطات الحميمة، والتفاصيل الدقيقة عن كل ما يكتبه من وقائع، متسائلاً: "إلى أي هاوية يأخذنا هذا الزمن؟ لا أدري، لكني أدري أن علينا ألا نتوقف عن استعمال الفاكس، فهو سحري وعملي" وأحياناً تبدو بعض الرسائل أنها رد على رسائل أخرى من الطرف الآخر كما هو الحال مع مراسلاته مع (قاسم)، وهو فيما يبدو الشاعر البحريني قاسم حداد، ففيه أخذ ورد.
نقرأ للكاتب جزء من رسالة حملت عنوان "سأطفئ مصباحي فقد استيقظ الليل": تجيء رسالتك الأخيرة، كما بشارتك الأولى، ونبوءاتك المتعددة في الوحدة، حباً وبوحاً، صدقاً وصداقةً، لتتضاعف في متانة ذلك الرباط الحميم: الحبل السري الذي نتغذى فيه بالوجع والصداقة ...".
من عناوين (الرسائل) في هذا الكتاب نذكر:1- عن الشهق والزفير وبقية العادات اليومية الركيكة، 2- محاولة الإقلاع عن التدخين، وسعد الله ونوس، وأشياء أخرى، 3- من الموت إلى الكابة (والعكس صحيح أيضاً) (...) وعناوين أخرى.
