Book Description
إن المهتمين بالأدب في العصر العباسي الثاني، وبالشعر على الأخص لديهم معرفة بأن الشريف المرتضى شاعر له شعر عال؛ إذ قال عنه إبن خلكان أنه كان إماماً في علم الكلام والأدب والشعر، وهو أخو الشاعر المعروف الشريف الرضي.
وقال عنه ياقوت الحموي: "توحد المرتضى في علوم كثيرة، مجمع على فضله، مقدم في العلوم مثل علم الكلام والفقه، وأصول الفقه والأدب والنحو والشعر ومعاني الشعر واللغة وغير ذلك، وله ديوان شعر يزيد على عشرة آلاف بيت".
كانت ولادة المرتضى سنة خمس وخمسين وثلاثمائة، وعاش معظم حياته في بغداد خلال العصر العباسي الثاني، حيث ضعفت الخلافة المركزية، وكان معاصراً لعدد من الشعراء الكبار، وتوفي في يوم الأحد الخامس والعشرين من شهر ربيع الأول سنة ست وثلاثين وأربعمائة.
قليلة هي الدراسات النقدية حول شعر المرتضى بسبب التأخر في تحقيق ديوانه، فقد حققه رشيد الصفار في العام 1959م.
تعد هذه الدراسة النقدية لشعر المرتضى واحدة من الدراسات القليلة حول شعره. وقد جمعت الدراسة بين أدوات النقد القديم وأدوات النقد الحديث لاستجلاء جماليات الصورة الفنية في شعره.
