"يوتوبيا الطين" قصص قصيرة أضاءت بيئة شعبية ريفية آخذة في التحول والغياب، أراد مؤلفها "عبد الله النصر" عن طريقها الإمساك بتلابيب الزمن القروي المستل من عالم الطفولة، وتثبيته بالسرد الروائي، فحشد هذا لكم من المشاهد الطبيعية؛ وأدمجها بلعب الصغار، وذكريات من زمن بعيد، فمنح النص واقعية صارخة تجنح نحو السحرية في بعض مشاهدها.
من النص المعنون "تلك الروح" نقرأ:
"عبر النسيمُ فجواتِ سعفِ النخيل الوارفة بتؤدة، مروراً بكؤوس الزهر المختلفة الفواحة .. وصبياً – بعد أن يطأ سيره الحثيث، وهدّأ أنفاسه – غمر روحه الساكنة فيه. مشى هوناً على تلٍ معشوشبٍ مخضب بالريحان اللدن .. ملأ رئتيه من عبيره الربيعي المنعش .. فغرقت عيناه في ماء نبع الخدود الكثيف الحي، الجاري بين الخضرة النضرة .. لمعتْ بلمعانه .. ودسُّ في رقراقه كفّيه .. غرف غرفة، أطفأ ظمأه بها، فابتهج". هذه القصة وغيرها من قصص المجموعة جرى التعبير عنها بلغة روائية سردية تمتع من اللغة الشعبية والفصيحة في التراكيب والمفردات، تبتعد عن الإنشائية ولا تقع في الإقتصادي، ولا تخلو ايضاً من شعرية تتناثر في مواضع متفرقة.
يضم الكتاب إثنتين وعشرين نصاً قصصياً قصيراً جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "نبات لمطوعة" ، "البلد الطيب" ، "حرير النار" ، "مفارقة" ، "أنتَ فقط" ، "هدية الوجد" ، "رائحة الموت" ، "صاحبة القفّة" ، "إنتفاضة" ، "دلال" ، "تلك الروح" ، "عقلاء .. أمْ؟!!" ، "عندما يسفر الرماد" (...) وعناوين أخرى.
