Book Description
إن أجل العلوم وأصل الأصول هو علم التوحيد الذي موضوعه معرفة الله تعالى بآياته وأسمائه وصفاته، والقيام بعبوديته. وإثبات ما أثبته لنفسه أو أثبته له رسوله من صفات الكمال ونعوت الجلال، وتنزيهه عما نزه عنه نفسه أو نزهه عنه رسوله من صفات النقص والعيب، والرد على من انحرف عن هذا الأصل فعبد غير الله أو أشرك في عبادة الله، أو حرف أسماء الله وصفاته بالتأويل وسلك سلك التعطيل والتمثيل، وبيان هذا الأصل والدعوة إليه والرد على من انحرف عنه أو حرف فيه، هو وظيفة الرسل صلوات الله عليهم، وهو أيضاً وظيفة خلفاء الرسل ووارثيهم وهم العلماء.
والإمام أبو بكر محمد بن إسحاق بن خزيمة واحد من هؤلاء العلماء المشهود لهم بالعلم والفقه والقدرة على الاستنباط قام من خلال جزئي هذاالكتاب، بدور كبير فقد شارك في بيان العقيدة الصحيحة وذب عنها ورد على من ألحد في أسماء الله وصفاته من الجهيمة والمعتزلة وتلاميذهم.
وقد امتاز هذاالمؤلّف باعتماد مؤلفه على الكتاب والسنة ومنهج السلف الصالح من الصحابة والتابعين والقرون المفضلة، ثم إن مؤلفه بن الحفاظ المُحدثين يروي الحديث بالسنة المتصل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه سلم، وهذه ميزة عظيمة فهو لا يقتصر على مجرد النقل عن غيره، ثم هو من متقدمي علماء السنة ومن طبقة الإمام أحمد والبخاري ومسلم وغيرهم فتخريجه للحديث يعتمد عليه ويوثقه ولا سيما في نصوص الصفات وأدلة العقيدة. وقد اختاره الباحث عبد العزيز بن إبراهيم الشهوان ليكون موضوعه لرسالته لنيل درجة الدكتوراه.
وقد زاد ذلك من أهمية الكتاب الذي خرج بمنهجية علمية معاصرة تخدم الغرض الأول الذي رامه المصنف من وراء تأليفه وهو خدمة الدين الحنيف في مسألة التوحيد وإثبات صفات الرب عز وجل.
