ذهب الإنسان بعيداً في استكشاف ما حوله من الموجودات، فراح يفتش أعماق البحار، وطار إلى الفضاء الخارجي كي يعرف أسراره ونواميسه، كل ذلك في وقت اشتد فيه جهله بأقرب الأشياء إليه.
إنها نفس الإنسان، هذه النفس التي تنطوي على غوامض الأمور، والتي لا زالت مجهولة لدى جل البشر إن لم نقل كلهم.
النفس ذلك الموجود الذي أودع الله فيه الكثير الكثير من الأنظمة والقوانين الكونية، والتي لو قدر لإنسان ما معرفتها فإنه ينال السعادة في حياته وبعد مماته.
إن الشيخ المحقق وفق كثيراً حين اختار هذا ا لكتاب لإظهاره للملأ العلمي، فإنه على صغر حجمه مادياً، وعدم إطناب مصنفه، قد حوى بحوثاً حول النفس، وقد تطرق لعرض آراء العلماء في ذات الموضوع، وبالتالي بدأ بطرح رأيه المستقى من سادته الطاهرين.
وسوف تلاحظ -أيها القارئ- سلاسة الطرح وعمق الرؤية، حيث أعطى المصنف الطريقة المثلى في كيفية التعرف على جوانب العظمة في النفس البشرية، والتي من عرفها فقد عرف ربه.
