تكمن أهمية هذا الكتاب أنه من الكتب التي تتناول شرح حديث (الكنز): "كنت كنزاً مخيفاً فأحببت أن أعرف فخلقت الخلق لكي أعرف"، وهو من الأحاديث العظيمة التي تعددت المشارب والأذواق في شرحه وتفكيك رموزه، وهذا الكتاب للشيخ البوخمسين يتناوله وفق الذائقة الأوحدية التي تغذى واقتات على مائدتها، وهي مدرسة الشيخ الأوحد أحمد بن زين الدين الأحسائي (ت 1241هـ)، التي تميزت بخصوصيتها، وطريقتها، ومنهجها مما يعطي الكتاب نكهته الخاصة، ويفرزه عن غيره.
