سلكت المسارات المعرفية النهج النقدي التحليلي، وامتلكت رؤية حول مسائل اصطبغت بالإشكالية أولاً، والتشظي ثانياً، ومصطلح (النقد المعرفي) هو مصطلح يقدم مجموعة من التوجهات العلمية ويتجه - كما نرى - إلى بيان التناول الشمولي في فهم النص وترجمته إلى خبرة المتلقي وبيان معطياته، ويسهم هذا التناول في رسم حوارية معرفية مع النص، متناسقة مع مدركات التلقي ونهجه، ولديه إمكانية التحول من (الظاهرة/ العوامل) - بوصف النص مجموعة من التراكيب العيانية - إلى (الخبرة / الفواعل).
يتسم عملنا في إطلاق هذا المصطلح بإضفاء المعطيات على السلوكيات، وفحص منظومةِ تشكلِ الظواهر المعرفية من خلال تحليل بيان نسقها المشكّل لها، ثم تقديمها في إطار من الشمول المعرفي الذي يكتسي نظما حيوية في معالجة الظاهرة، وبذلك اصطبغ العمل المعرفي لدينا بسمة تحويل المُنتج إلى بنية، وتحويل النص إلى فعل المعرفة الذي يبغي كشف القيم التي نهض عليها النص، وإعادة تقييم المنجز الإنساني في سياق معرفي شمولي لا يؤمن بحدود بين الأجناس العلمية، ويسعى إلى تأسيس منطق حواري بينها من خلال تعايش المفردات العلمية أولاً، ومشروعية التكامل التي تسيّر البحث العلمي العالمي المعاصر ثانياً.
وإنطلاقاً مما سبق جاءت معطياتنا في هذا المصطلح بوصفها؛ (قراءات في النقد المعرفي) الذي نراه نقداً شمولياً وعلمياً، يتناول النص ليمنحه قيمه التي غابت بفعل قراءات جنينية ومختبرية أفقدت النص روحه ومشروعه في حمل الكلمة المسؤولة الموظفة التي من المفترض أن تحمل دلالات تنهض بالقارئ وتشجعه على الفعل والممارسة.
