من هنا وفي هذا الإطار يأتي هذا الكتاب الذي لم يصدر من وحي التفكير النظري لمؤلفه فحسب، بل هو صدر من وحي الميدان ومن متابعة الأحداث في حركة العاملين في الماضي والحاضر. وكان لتجارب المؤلف العملية الدور الأول والأساسي في صياغته ومن ثم دراسة تلك التجارب بنظرة موضوعية ناقدة في سبيل خدمة التحرك الإسلامي والعاملين في سبيل الله، وذلك في محاولة لدراسة قيمة الزمن في حركة العاملين للكشف عن البعد الحركي للزمن في تجارب الأنبياء والمصلحين وحركة العاملين في سبيل الله، وذلك في محاولة لدراسة قيمة الزمن في حركة العاملين للكشف عن البعد الحركي للزمن في تجارب الأنبياء والمصلحين وحركة العاملين في سبيل الله للوقوف على قيمته المؤثرة في واقع المجتمع والسياسة وفي مسار الحضارة الإنسانية بشكل عام. ولعل هذه المحاولة تساهم في إثارة الموضوع بشكل جاد، وتدفع الباحثين في الفكر الإسلامي والدراسات الحركية إلى المبادرة في معالجة مسألة الزمن وعلاقتها بالواقع الاجتماعي والثقافي والسياسي للأمة الإسلامية.
