Book Description
إن الخُلُق هو الدِّين والطبع والسَّجية، وحقيقته أنه لصورة الإنسان الباطنة، وهو: بذل النَّدى، وكفّ الأذى، وإختيار الفضائل، وترك الرذائل، وهو صفة الأنبياء، وخصال الأولياء.
وفي "الصحيحين" أنَّ هشام بن حكيم سأل عائشة رضي الله عنها عن خُلُق رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقالت: "كان خُلُقه القرآن"، أي كان متمسكاً بالقرآن الكريم وبآدابه وأوامره ونواهيه وما يشتمل عليه من المكارم والمحاسن والألطاف.
وجمعت مكارم الأخلاق في قوله تعالى: (خُذِ العَفْوَ وَأمُرْ بِالعُرْفِ وَأَعْرِضّ عَنِ الجَاهِلِينَ) [الأعراف: 199]، وحثَّ الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم على حسن الخلق والتحلي بالأخلاق الكريمة، قال: "مِن أكثر ما يُدخل النَّاسَ الجنَّةَ تقوى الله وحُسْنُ الخُلُق".
وكتاب "مكارم الأخلاق" لابن أبي الدنيا الذي بين يدينا حافل بالأحاديث والآثار والأخبار والأشعار التي تتحدث عن مكارم الأخلاق ومحاسنها، انطلق فيه المؤلف من حديث عائشة رضي الله عنها بتعداد هذه المكارم وبنى كتابه عليها، وهي عشر خصال.
فعن عائشة رضي الله عنها أنها قالت: "مكارم الأخلاق عشرة، تكون في الرجل ولا تكون في ابنه، وتكون في ابنه ولا تكون فيه، وتكون في السيِّد ولا تكون في عبده، وتكون في العبد ولا تكون في سيِّده"، وذكرت هذه الخصال وهي: "صِدق الحديث، وصدق البأس في طاعة الله تعالى، وإعطاء السَّائل، ومكافأة الصَّنيع، وصِلة الرّحم، وأداء الأمانة، والتذمًّم للجار، والتذمُّم للصاحب، وقِرى الضيف، ورأسُهُنَّ الحياء".
